After doing a complete evaluation of their present system, it was identified that the system itself was in good condition and only needed its software upgraded, and the expansion of certain parts of the telephone system for the higher demands. By recalibrating the present system, standardizing telephone appearance, and retraining their personnel, CTI was able to bring their existing system up to the demands needed for their use, and the cost was cut to a fraction of replacing the entire phone system.

While overseeing the complete replacement and doubling the size of the High School telephone system, CTI recognized ways of giving the entire district more capabilities and streamlining communications between all locations. By working with Southwestern Bell and multiple telephone vendors, CTI set up a Centrex network that would allow all eleven locations to use the same voicemail and transfer calls between locations, no matter what type of telephone system was at that location.

IFR Systems was considering two alternative service providers, and wasn’t confident that all the pieces and costs, were on the table. After CTI’s evaluation, we found that they were not. Once total network cost were identified and tabulated, it was much easier for our client to make that final decision.

While evaluating Kansas Legal Service’s needs, we found that voice ran over their existing data line from Kansas City to Wichita, could save over $4,300 a year in long distance calls.

It’s not unusual, after credibility is established, for a company to use our services in multi purpose projects. With Ritchie Corporation, CTI assisted in the configuring of a four-partition, telephone system, while initializing DID, and identifying a redundant fiber-link to their new facility.

By using CTI for their project, all service providers and vendors had one point of contact to establish transfer or replacement of services and equipment. This included establishing fax and voice dial up and dedicated service, working with two LECs, redirecting their WAN, LAN and ISDN lines for data, along with countless "behind the scene" issues.

After a successful relocation, CTI started investigating to capabilities of Voice over IP or Voice over Frame, over their existing Wide Area Network. We are also assisting Ritchie in their investigation for an alternative long distance service provider and alternatives for data transfer.
